On this website are some thoughts and impressions from God’s Word to help and encourage believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. If you have been on the Christian pathway for a while, you may know a lot of these truths already.
I would like to be able to publish them as part of a book someday, if the Lord allows. More importantly, however, is my prayer that these writings will stir up our affection for Divine Persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – creating a desire to know them in a deeper, more intimate way.
Might we be like those Bereans of old, who “were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” (Acts 17:11)
May the Holy Spirit guide, encourage and strengthen you in your faith.
If you are not a Christian, may the blessed Spirit of God use these thoughts to lead you to the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ– the one who suffered and died on the cross at Calvary to save you from your sins and the eternal wrath to come.
To come to Christ, one must have faith, and “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” (Romans 10:17)
The Lord Jesus Christ said, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” (John 5:24) He also said, “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)
Know that God “desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” (1 Timothy 2:4)
Might we all continue to “…grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen.” (2 Peter 3:18)
“O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.” (Psalm 34:3)
